Appraisal / Commissioned Testing
Overview
Appraisal / commissioned testing is a third-party software quality testing service carried out on software products, information systems or platform applications at the client’s request. Based on requirement specifications, design documents, user manuals, contract terms, testing requirements and applicable standards, Star River Quality provides an independent and objective evaluation of functional implementation, operating status and quality characteristics.
Service Value
Appraisal / commissioned testing helps clients understand the quality status of software from a third-party perspective, identify issues in functional implementation, business processes, data handling, operational stability, security controls, compatibility and documentation consistency, and reduce the risk of software delivery and formal operation.
Testing Content
Depending on the commissioned scope, Star River Quality can carry out functional, performance efficiency, information security, compatibility, usability, maintainability and documentation consistency testing. The focus includes whether functions meet the requirements, whether business processes are correct, whether the system runs stably, whether permissions and interfaces are secure, whether different operating environments are compatible, and whether the related documentation matches the actual software.
Testing Basis
Appraisal / commissioned testing follows the national standard GB/T 25000.51-2016, Systems and software engineering — Systems and software Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE) — Part 51: Requirements and testing details for ready-to-use software products (RUSP), and is carried out in combination with the project requirements, technical contract, task assignment, indicator requirements, requirement specification and the testing scope confirmed by the client.
Star River Quality can test one or more functions, technical indicators, quality characteristics or parameters of an information system or software product that the user is operating or developing, providing a testing basis for software quality evaluation, project delivery, system launch and third-party confirmation.
Service Process
The service process includes requirement communication, document collection, test plan preparation, test environment setup, test execution, issue logging, result review and report compilation. Throughout the process we keep standardised records of test steps, test data, issues found and evaluation conclusions.
Our Capabilities
Star River Quality provides standardised, independent and objective appraisal / commissioned testing. After testing, a CMA or CNAS software test report can be issued as required, providing a credible third-party technical basis for software quality evaluation, project delivery, system launch, commissioned testing and quality management.
