Certification Overview

ISC stands for the Institute of Standards of Cambodia, which operates under the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) and is responsible for certifying regulated products entering the Cambodian market. ISC certification is a legal market access requirement: regulated products without ISC certification may not be produced, imported, sold, or used in Cambodia.

Product Scope

Cambodian Standards (CS) issued by ISC cover the following major categories:

• Electrical and electronic products: home appliances, wires and cables, lighting equipment, electronic devices
• Food and agricultural products: processed food, beverages, agricultural product quality standards
• Construction materials: cement, steel, pipes
• Chemicals: industrial chemicals, daily chemical products
• Consumer goods: toys, daily-use items
• Industrial products: machinery, industrial raw materials
• Service standards: service-related standards and specifications
