Certification Overview

Under Decree No. 1036 BCO dated October 9, 1990, all radio communication equipment must obtain an administrative import authorization before being imported into French Polynesia. The authorization is issued by the French National Frequency Agency (ANFR) on behalf of the High Commission of the Republic in French Polynesia. Notably, because regulatory requirements differ, products already approved in other countries may still require type approval in French Polynesia.
